Overview: The pattern on this kosode depicting the fall season in both color and design, was hand painted. It is lined in cream silk and has a cotton collar (date eri).

Construction: This silk crepe kosode is painted with a pattern of large and small flowers, maple leaves, and rectangular patterns in a diagonal shape. The colors and elements depict the fall season. It has a cream cotton lining and data eri (collar band). The sleeves are l;ined with self-fabric and measure 17" wide. The opening of the sleeves next to the body have been partially closed with hand-basting. From top to bottom, the garment measures 50 1/2".
