Sam Fu

Overview: This set of matching blouse and trousers is made of red and blue China silk. It is embellished with embroidery.

Construction: This ensemble includes a short-sleeved blouse and matching drawstring pants. The blouse is machine-made out of red China silk. The blouse, or sam, has machine-made embroidery depicting two dragons facing each other surrounded by clouds. It is short sleeved with a blue pointed collar. There is not closure on the garment that pulls on over the head. The pants, fu, are made of blue China silk with red cuffs. The cuffs are decorated with machine-made embroidery depicting clouds. The trousers were cut with a fold on the out-seam.

Damage: The ensemble is in good condition having been lightly worn.
