The reproduction for the wedding bodice was made from white silk satin to fit a modern size 8.

The profile shows the shape that would have been created by a bustle foundation for the original.

The detail of the back echoes the use of self-fabric tubes on the original bodice that have pressed flat, pleated, tucked and wrapped into unique decorative bows, utilizing the raw, unraveled weft threads of the fabric.
