G1025 Reproduction of Vintage Bodice and skirt from 1887-1890

| The modern reproduction of this bodice has been made to fit a modern size 12 body. It is proportionally similar to the original. The fabrics used for the reproduction were green rayon velvet, a burgundy floral rayon brocade, and gold chromespun acetate taffeta. The metallic bullion has been replaced with acetate chainette fringe. The internal seam allowances are serged for seam finishing rather than being hand overcast. It is based on the original pattern pieces that have been sized up. | |
