Japan 1950 -1980 Dark Blue with Grey and Salmon mens Japan [Cotton]
Overview: The yukata is dark blue, with the bottom portion of the yukata hand-painted in two different sections, one grey and one pink. This decoration is mirrored on the sleeves in grey.
Construction: This hand-painted yukata is machine made. It is hand-painted with dark blue, grey, red, and salmon, forming two main sections of floral design on the base of the yukata. There is a grey section of floral design on the bottom portion of each sleeve. It is unlined. The center back is 64 1/4" from top to bottom and the sleeves are 21" in length from top to bottom.
Provenance: The yukata was donated by Dr. Carol Runyan.
Damage: The garment doesn't show any signs of wear.
