Blue and Black Shmagh

Overview: This shmagh has fringe along two edges.

Construction: This is black and blue shmagh is made of fine cotton. It has a plaid pattern around the border which frames a "barbed wire" pattern in the middle. Two edges are finished with 2" long black and blue fringe spaced 1" apart. It is about 20" square, smaller than a typical shmagh.

Provenance: From the collection of Bobbi Owen who acquired it in 2006 in Abu Dhabi.
