Japanese 1850 -1900 Blue with White, Reds, Oranges womans Japan [Silk Crepe]
Overview: This beautiful furisode is made from silk crepe and hand-painted. It is lined with China silk although some sections of the lining have been replaced with polyester. The colors are typical for late summer or early fall and consist of iris and maple leaves just beginning to turn from green to rust. The decoration is due to hand-painting and a resist method.
